The groups ranked 1, 2, and 6 were revealed during the second episode on April 8, 2021. (On a related note, my dorky friends from RTK ended up having the last laugh, so that PTSD pales in comparison to my pride as a fan.). Last year's Road to Kingdom was a bumpy road for sure, with one particular pothole that still has me feeling PTSD. The use of chain fences was cool, giving the stage a maze-like appearance. The show served as the male version of Queendom. Im celebrating on behalf of the warring groups, while also fuming at MNET for not making this decision last year. Im rooting for several groups, but I feel bad for btob cause they are only doing vocals, but their vocals are kinda average for a boy group maybe a little above but I feel they need more, 6. At least it was cool in the end. The groups participating in Kingdom: Legendary War are BtoB, iKON, SF9, The Boyz, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ. Im more interested in seeing where these groups go next. Plus, the songs pretty good! 2) They did have some badass moments in their performance which did elevate the song. Unless they happen to be singer-songwriters themselves. I try to stan and support a lot! Looking at the other groups results, I feel embarrassed. Imitation and Kingdom definitely have to help their domestic popularity and the prospect of Mingi returning will be epic hahaha. All groups had their ups and downs, and my rankings changed week to week. 1) But, it didnt leave as much impact as some of the earlier performances. Its great that they went first. I know the voting wouldnt work the same, but these live finales just DRAG. The performance stood out because of its focus on vocals, but the group is missing some of those key vocalists. Personally, when I first saw the performance it was a bit underwhelming but after watching it more, Ive come to love it, and the dance break with Q in the front was just amazing. all we need now is for the groups to have a comeback! 6. Comparing this episode to the debut of Road to Kingdom a year ago, I cant help but feel a little underwhelmed. i was so giddy over that i love seeing idols happy and in love. And will they get the same sales boost the Road to Kingdom groups enjoyed? Sadly, in the self-evaluation, we got 0 votes. I feel like the point of the show is to try new stages/styles. You have to create a unique and special performance. 4th place: iKON 1,695.402 points (862.069 + 833.333) After THE BOYZ, iKON, and BTOB kicked off the competition in last weeks episode, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and SF9 took the stage for their own electrifying performances this week. I dont think live singing is by definition superior. It aired from April 1, 2021 to June 3, 2021. Ateez was amazing, but I think they were way too serious. Still, kudos to all the groups, they all did GREAT!^^, For me I believe that IKON and BTOB showed something different whereas the other 4 performances were almost similar. Theres a lot of focus on Taeyangs tight shirts during this clip, as the members gift each other new clothes and other witty items. I hope Kingdom doesnt fall into this trap, but the meet-greet performances were disappointing.
